Tender description

The demolition of the existing building at Lodge Road NW8 7HN and redevelopment to comprise 1 basement level, ground and 12 upper floors containing car parking, plant, sheltered accommodation (Use Class C3) and ancillary communal areas. Central and Cecil Housing Trust ("C&C") provides inspirational, person-centred care and support to vulnerable people, including: — Frail older people who require personal care or care with nursing, — People living with dementia, — Active older people living in sheltered and extra care housing; and, — People with mental health support needs. The current building at Lodge Road is not consistent with the modern requirements for older peoples' housing. To upgrade the accommodation, it is necessary to demolish and rebuild. The proposed development comprises 1 basement level, ground and 12 upper floors containing car parking, plant, sheltered accommodation (Use Class C3) and ancillary communal areas. The contract for this procurement may be let either by C&C or Central & Cecil Construction Services Limited, a member of C&C's group.
