Market Engagement Morning Harrow Council invites Suppliers to attend a Market Engagement Day on Monday 14 May 2018 at 9.30 – 12:00 (registration from 9.00am), at Harrow Civic Centre, Station Road, Harrow, HA1 2UY. The Councils current vehicle supply and maintenance contract is due to expire on the 31st December 2018. The Authority is therefore considering all delivery options for the future contract, which could include purchasing vehicles and separate maintenance arrangements as well as an all-inclusive leasing and maintenance arrangement. The purpose of the Market Engagement morning is to outline the authorities thinking to the market and to gain your feedback which we will consider when developing our final approach to this procurement. The current contract services circa 360 vehicles and plant. This is broken down as follows: • Refuse Collection Vehicles – 32 (12-26 tonne) • LGV – 4 (7.5-18 tonne) • Sweepers – 9 (sub-compact – 7.5 tonne) • Special Needs Transport/accessible Buses – 160 (9-57 seats) • Tipper Vans - 17 • Small – Medium Panel Vans - 20 • Cars – 8 • CA site plant equipment - 3 • Scooters - 12 • Grounds Maintenance Equipment – approx. 90 (e.g. push mowers, ride on mowers, tractors and ancillary equipment) If you are interested in attending Contact Jessica Covey by email: jessica.covey@harrow.gov.uk to register your attendance.
