Tender description

This PIN is issued to alert the market about the intended procurement of capital works to a primary school in Fulbourn Old Drift, Cambridge. This Scheme is being procured pursuant to the Priority School Building programme ("PSBP"). The estimated value of the works is below the EU works threshold; therefore the contract opportunity will be advertised on Contracts Finder ONLY. The purpose of this PIN is to raise market awareness about the planned procurement and promote early bidder interest. A Bidders' Day is being held at 12:00 pm on 28.5.2018 at Bewick Bridge Community Primary School to provide further information about the Scheme (time is subject to change). Please note that there will be a limit of 2 people per organisation and subject to venue capacity. The Scheme involves the medium refurbishment of Block EFA-A at Bewick Bridge Community Primary School located in Fulbourn Old Drift, Cambridge. In summary the scope of refurbishment works includes full replacement of pitched and flat roof coverings; the repair and replacement of windows and doors; replacement of cladding, rainwater goods, sanitary ware, ceilings and floor coverings as well as refurbishment of electrical systems and internal redecoration. The works also involve surveys and asbestos removal. Economic Operators should note that this contract opportunity shall only be advertised on Contracts Finder due to its value (Section II.3 — A contract notice shall NOT be published in the OJEU). It is intended that the advert shall be issued on Contracts Finder during 16.5.2018. Deadline for tenders is envisaged for 13.6.2018.
