London and Quadrant Housing Trust has issued this Prior Information Notice (PIN) to advertise this opportunity to the open market and seek expressions of interest from suppliers/manufacturers that may wish to take part in future associated tenders. London and Quadrant Housing Trust are tendering for the provision of the supply of Bolt on Balconies for London and Quadrant’s Aperture Works development to comply with the Public Contracts regulations 2015. The objective of this tender process is to establish a Framework Agreement with the tenderers and London and Quadrant Housing Trust for a period of 2 years. Rebates will be required. Aperture Works is a mixed use new build development in the Borough of Harrow, North London. The development is broken into 4 Phase comprising of 5 blocks, ranging from 12 to 4 stories. 739 residential apartments, of which 449 are private sale, 108 private rental schemes, 111 are affordable and 71 are shared ownership. The site also hosts an NHS unit, Children’s nursery, Supermarket, cafe and a flexible office space. Linked by extensive landscaping, community space and shared surfaces. Each residential unit has a bolt on balcony, which is to be installed in 2 section, Cast in element / thermal break / stub bracket – Single prefabricated balcony lifted into place or similar 2 stage system. Provision for 30 balconies per week install, PPC coated with composite decking. Comprehensive commercial history in successful Design, Manufacture and Installation within the UK market, Client reverences required. The entire tendering process will be conducted via London and Quadrant’s e-procurement portal. Details are available on Section 1.3. Suppliers/Manufacturers that would like to be considered for this opportunity are invited to create an account and find the tender in the "Forthcoming" section in the Tenders tab. Once the tender has been found, tenderers are instructed to "Express Interest" via the e-procurement portal. When the tender documents have been made available, involved Suppliers/Manufacturers will receive notification via email and the tender documents can be accessed from the "My tenders" area of this website and selecting the "View Details" button of this project. This is a 2 stage tender and both stages adhere to the time-scales as prescribed within the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 for Restricted OJEU Tenders. The first stage is the selection process which involves completing the Standard Selection Questionnaire. Those who match the criteria on the first stage will advance to the next stage. The second stage is the Invitation To Tender (ITT) Stage. The ITT stage is where tenderers must read and complete part two of the ITT Documents and supply any documents that they believe will help them to succeed with this procurement opportunity and become a framework supplier to London and Quadrant Housing Trust.
