Tender description

Northumbrian water limited (NWL) are looking to appoint a framework of vendors to assist with iOS Mobile App development and ongoing support for internal corporate apps. This is a significant step for our business as it prepares us to utilise new technologies to enhance our operatives experience in the field and the employee experience overall to enable a better customer service. The vendor will be required to utilise the Microsoft Xamarin technology alongside the Azure mobile middleware platform. NWL have already started the journey into Mobile App development and much of the foundation architecture will be already in place for the vendor. An immediate need exists to develop an app specific for Water networks operatives which will be based upon functionality currently being developed by another supplier for the Waste water network operatives. This work package will be awarded to one of the framework partners as part of the framework procurement.
