Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) as the contracting authority is[SW3] seeking for a suitable service provider to provide a Fully Managed Digital Interview Recording System (DIR) including Hardware, Software, Storage and Service. Software and/or Storage may be cloud based or within the authority’s data centres. Key requirements are: — A fully managed, end-to-end digital recording solution including all hardware, software, storage and managed service for support and maintenance. — Digitally record audio only and audio/visual interviews. — Fixed, portable and hand-held recording devices, microphones and cameras (with at least one PTZ). — Recording from fixed and hand-held recorders shall be uploaded to a central repository. — Recording from portable devices shall allow a copy of the interview to be burned to a disk or uploaded to a central repository. Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA), acting as the Contracting Authority for Greater Manchester Police (GMP), has issued this Prior Information Notice (PIN) to advertise this opportunity to the open market and seek expressions of interest from suppliers that may wish to take part in future associated tenders. As part of the market engagement exercise interested bidders may be invited to present their solution to GMP W/C 21st May 2018 (subject to amendment), this will allow GMP to explore the market place and gain market information to better prepare the procurement process.
