External works to Plus Dane properties are currently provided by several contractors previously procured. It is anticipated that we will be going out to market to procure new contracts in late 2018 for a start date of 1.4.2019. The overall value of spend across all Lots is expected to be approximately 15 000 000 GBP over a four year period, with c. 3 000 000 GBP in the first year. Early thoughts favour the procurement of a single or, as few contractors to deliver all spend areas and this is one of the ideas we’re looking to test through this SMT to understand whether this is both feasible and desirable to the market. An alternative would be a framework agreement of suppliers with annual term maintenance call off contracts.
