Tender description

NIE Networks' has a requirement for a fuel payment service (using fuel cards) for the supply of fuel for its fleet of approximately 390 commercial vehicles and specialist plant. The payment cards will enable the electronic payment for fuel. NIE Networks require the provision of Bulk Fuel Storage Facilities with a 24 hour, 7 day availability. Storage facilities are to be with a 10-15 mile radius of the Belfast area. A minimum stock level of 65 000 litres of fuel equal to 10 days fuel is to be stocked at all times on a rolling basis. A Framework Agreement will be for a period of 5 years, with an option, exercisable entirely at the discretion of NIE Networks and subject to the terms of the Framework Agreement, to extend by a further optional 2 year period (total duration 7 years). NIE Networks estimates that the total spend under the Framework Agreement, the total spend is anticipated to be between 6 170 000 GBP and 8 650 000 GBP.
