Tender description
Baudrette Brook (BB) surface water pumping station is located on the south coast of Jersey just to the East of St Helier. It is equipped with two water screw pumps that lift surface water from flat lands to sea during heavy rain and high tides. The existing water screw pumps and associated equipment were installed in the mid-sixties, and are now life expired and do not have the capacity to handle the current predicted water flow rates in extreme weather conditions. It is envisaged that the installation of the replacement screw pumps will take place in the summer of 2019. Keywords: pumps, drainage
