Tender description
Demolish former Swimming Pool building, including major asbestos containment and removal work, large-scale building demolition down to pool slab level leaving pool slab, external terraces, basement and foundations intact. And undertake permanent new works generally comprising of filling pool basins with hardcore (recycled from demolitions after crushing / grading off site), alterations and additions to surface water drainage, modify existing and installation of new handrails & balustrading around perimeter of pool slab, installation of security fence, installing reinforced concrete capping slab over filled pool basins, laying tarmac to falls across whole pool slab area and laying paving slabs on southern terraces & steps, all in order to leave site safe on completion.
