Tender description

Framework agreement for the provision of homecare medicines services (including lot 1 Intravenous infusion antimicrobials) to members of the Yorkshire and Humber NHS Pharmaceutical Purchasing Consortium, and other organisations with prior approval only. This framework will be subject to the release of mini competitions for specific homecare services. Services are to be provided in line with the Royal Pharmaceutical Society Professional Standards for Homecare. This framework agreement will be accessible to all partly or wholly publically funded bodies in the United Kingdom. Such homecare services may include but are not limited to the following (all values estimated including product and service charges). IV antimicrobial 5 000 000 GBP. Immunoglobulin 8 000 000 GBP. Renal 3 000 000 GBP. Unlicensed compounded 35 000 000 GBP. Fertility, oral Chemotherapy, Antimicrobial 34 000 000 GBP. Infectious diseases, immunosuppresants, multiple sclerosis 100 000 000 GBP. Metobolics and Unlicensed oral meds 3 000 000 GBP. Injectable medicines 423 000 000 GBP. Services are to be provided in line with the Royal Pharmaceutical Society Professional Standards for Homecare. This Framework Agreement will include, and be for the benefit of publically funded (both wholly and partially funded) entities in the United Kingdom, including Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales and England. This will include, but is not limited to: Acute; Ambulance; Mental Health; Clinical Commissioning Groups; Health and Care Trusts; Area Teams; Local Authorities and Special Health Authorities; HSC in Northern Ireland; NHS Scotland and NHS Wales, including any successor or emerging organisations, which will include but is not limited to the emerging landscape of combined health and social care commissioners and providers. Services are to be provided in line with the Royal Pharmaceutical Society Professional Standards for Homecare. In brief this can be categorised as, but not limited to the supply of intravenous infusion devices, antimicrobials, compounding of intravenous infusion antimicrobials, and dispense and delivery of products for self-administration or nurse administration including ancillaries associated with the administration of, and waste collection services, nurse training, nurse administration and phlebotomy services.
