Tender description

A comprehensive translation and interpretation service covering all communication needs including face to face and telephone interpretation, sign language and document translation. The Contracting Authority requires the following services: — face to face interpreting, — telephone interpreting, — sign language — mainly British Sign Language (BSL), — written translation (languages, large print, Braille, easyread), — transcription of documents into audio CDs, — text to speech, — audio recordings, — any other translation or interpreting needs. The services must comprise a streamlined web-based booking and tracking system that can be accessed directly by officers of the Contracting Authority.
