NOTE: This notice was updated on 25 April 2018 for the following reason: PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO A CHANGE TO THE COUNCIL'S REQUIREMENTS THIS TENDER EXERCISE HAS NOT BEEN AWARDED AND IS NOW CANCELLED.This training programme is commissioned by The Essex Social Care Academy (ESCA), Essex County Council (ECC), for social workers within the Children & Families directorate, commencing 1st May 2018 for a period of two years with an option to extend for a further twelve months (2+1). The target audience will be qualified social workers, senior practitioners, team & service managers, heads of service and directors from children and families. It is ECC's intention to open up the leadership and management programme to wider partner agencies, such as Education, Health and Police. The aim of the training programme is to upskill participants with core systemic theories, which transfers into relational social work practice. The estimated total contract value, including the 12 month optional extension period, is £300,000 to £350,000. The deadline for submission of tenders is 12.00 noon on 02/02/2018.
