Tender description

The Contract will involve the successful Contractor undertaking external cyclical painterwork services on existing housing properties throughout the Central Scottish Borders. The Contract will involve delivery of service on an annual basis over a 3 year period from 2018-2021 with an optional extension not exceeding 2 years (subject to the satisfactory performance of the successful Contractor) to deliver painterwork services during financial years 2021-2022 and 2022-2023. The Contract is envisaged to include external painterwork services including painting works to existing rainwater disposal systems, metal railings, gates and washpoles, external doors and garage doors, fascia, soffit and verge boards, windows and external walls. The Contract is envisaged to include external painterwork services to approximately 300 housing properties per annum during financial years 2018-2019, 2019-2020 and 2020-2021. Subject to satisfactory performance of the successful Contractor, the Contract may be extended by a maximum of 2 further years to include external painterwork services during financial years 2021-2022 and 2022-2023.
