Tender description

Canterbury Christ Church University are seeking to appoint a main contractor for the construction of a new 17 100 sqm Academic and social learning building (Building 2). The building will provide a series of engineering laboratories/workshops which will allow the University to diversify into the provision of new courses in engineering and technology to meet the direct requirements of local and regional businesses located in an area which links the Canterbury world heritage site. This project already has planning permission, funding agreements in place and the main contract works will benefit from an advance enabling works contract. Prior to the finalisation of any tender documentation, the University would like to invite potential contractors in to visit the site and to be given an overview of this project. The supplier day will be held on 16.5.2018 at 14:00 meeting at the Reception of Old Sessions House, Canterbury, Kent CT1 1PL.
