Tender description

Flitwick Library is being developed as a community hub. This is part of Central Bedfordshire Council's agenda to provide a wider cultural offer in the authority. We are seeking a supplier to provide appropriate hardware, software and equipment. This should include but not be limited to: Digital projector with provision for alternative inputs including and not limited to laptops, Blu-ray/DVD devices Plinth (if required) Server Projection surface/screen Satellite Network Cabling UPS Sound system including amplifiers, speakers, processors for additional sound inputs to system It is proposed to install all necessary equipment in the projection room and meeting room to operate, initially, a film club. Please note: a site visit to the venue is required and is essential prior to quotation. Completed Quotations and attachments should be submitted electronically, by the due date via our 'In-Tend' electronic tendering system. Quotations must be uploaded via the 'My Return' section of the system. Quotations submitted through the correspondence facility will not be considered. Your Quotation must be submitted via the In-Tend system by no later than 12:00 noon on 19/03/2018, quotations received after that time will be excluded. Help and support - The Council will provide as much support and information as it can to help guide you through the Quotation process. Questions asked together with the response, will be made available to all firms quoting, to ensure a fair and consistent approach to all. If there is anything you are not sure of or need clarification of, then please contact us using the correspondence facility within the In-tend electronic tendering system. Deadline for questions closes: 12 noon on 14/03/2018 Please view the 'Clarification' tab for any updates or responses to questions asked. Target contract commencement date: 26/03/2018 All equipment will require a guarantee/warranty for 3 years from official handover and sign-off of the equipment following on-site testing. Maintenance and up-grades. Requirements for up-grades should be identified over a five year period.
