The site measures 0,79 Ha, and is located between Homerton and Hackney Central, within the jurisdiction of the London Borough of Hackney. Homerton High Street borders the site to the north, and the Overground raised railway line is to the south. The surrounding context includes the Clapton Square Conservation Area, which neighbours the site partially to the west and Sutton House which is a Grade II listed building.
