UK SBS are hosting a pre-market engagement supplier day on Friday 11.5.2018 from 1300 GMT to 1500 GMT at their Swindon site: — UK SBS. — Polaris House. — North Star Avenue. — Swindon. — SN2 1FF. The supplier day is in relation to a requirement for the provision of DNA sequencing, Oligonucleotides synthesis and custom DNA/RNA synthesis. A full description can be found at II.2.4 Description of the procurement. It is anticipated that the supplier day will have the following agenda: — Introductions. — Special requirements. — Presentation. — Q&A. Please register interest in attending no later than 1200 GMT on 30.4.2018. Please express your interest in attendance via email to scientificresearch@uksbs.co.uk stating the reference number RE18190 in the email subject. UKSBS wish to put in place a framework for the purchase a range of user selectable DNA Sequencing services (Sanger/ ~800-1000 base pair read) from a range of samples and formats including tubes, microtiter plates, preparation and extractions services including from colonies and tissue, with the capability of sequencing from High GC and AT samples. UKSBS wish to put in place a framework for the purchase of user selectable Custom gene synthesis and advanced DNA services. These to include, but not limited to the following: — Custom gene fragment synthesis (sub 2000bp). — Custom gene synthesis (sub 3000bp). — Custom gene synthesis (3000-5000bp). — Whole genome synthesis. — Genes produced with additional synthetic Nucleotides (AGTC + XY). — Complex sequence synthesis. — Custom vector production. — Codon optimized sequences all species. — Large scale plasmid preparation of synthesised genes. — Gene optimization. — DNA Library production. — Cloning for expression. — Site-directed mutagenesis. — Bacterial, yeast, Baculovirus and mammalian gene expression services. UKSBS wish to put in place a framework for the purchase of a range of custom Oligonucleotide synthesis services including Custom DNA oligo’s in tubes, plates and RNA/siRNA, to be user selectable via supplier engagement with a range of purification and modification options. It is anticipated that this will be split into 2 sub-lots: — Sub lot A — synthesis of DNA oligonucleotides. — Sub lot B — synthesis of custom RNA oligo’s (both Single and double stranded RNA oligoes, siRNA) the supply of siRNA Libraries and the production of custom SiRNA Libraries.
