Installation of outdoor illumination equipment

Tender description

Derby City Council (The Employer) is seeking to appoint a highly skilled and experienced contractor to become part of its delivery team for festive lights. The proposed vision for the offer over the term of the contract is “Christmas; Past, Present and Future”, with the delivery team striving to achieve the physical manifestation of the Christmas spirit through the festive lighting display. The appointed Contactor will use their expertise in the design, construction and installation of displays to make this vision a reality through the animation of the city centre. This will involve incremental improvements of the Employers current equipment as well as adding new displays and features. The Employer will use the NEC 4 Term Service Form of Contract to engage the Contractor. The contract is anticipated to be for maximum 5 years (3 years with an option to extend for a further 2 years in 1 year increments).
