Sligo Regional Roads Signage Project - Phase 4

Tender description

The Sligo Regional Road Signage Project (Phase 4) involves the supply and installation of new directional signage on or close to various Regional Roads across Sligo County, including the R284, R293, R294, R295, R296, R297, R298 and R361. There are also some one off installations to augment existing signsage on the R287, R290, R292, N15 and N59, and in the vicinity of Sligo Racecourse in Sligo Town. The signage comprises mainly low level plate directional signs and high level fingerpost signs. This signage will be installed either on new sign posts and foundations or on existing supports. In addition to the installation of new signs, the works also include the replacement, relocation and/or removal of some existing signs and supports. The project involves approximately: - 593 sign installations - 120 sign removals/relocations (Note: Scope of works may reduce by a maximum of 20% depending on the lowest compliant tender total received and the available budget for the scheme). The successful Tenderer shall also fulfil the role of PSCS for the project. At All works are located in the County of Sligo, on or close to Regional and adjoining county roads including the R284, R293, R294, R295, R296, R297, R298 and R361, and at various junctions on or close to the N15, N59, R287, R290 and R292, and in the vicinity of Sligo Racecourse in Sligo Town.
