Tender description

Cardiff Council wishes to establish a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the provision of high quality and cost effective Passenger Transport via the Proactis portal. https://supplierlive.proactisp2p.com/Account/Login This Lot covers the requirements of the council for bus services for vehicles 17 seats and over. This Lot covers all Passenger Carrying Vehicle (PCV) and Section 19 licensed minibuses that require a regular Driver and, in most cases, a Passenger Assistant on every journey. This Lot covers all taxi contracts up to 8 seats (and specially adapted vehicles licensed as Private Hire Vehicles). All contracts will require a regular driver and some contracts will also require a regular passenger assistant to support the passengers. This Lot covers all Passenger Carrying Vehicle (PCV) and Section 19 licensed minibuses that have been Specially Adapted to carry wheelchairs and that require a regular Driver and, in most cases, a Passenger Assistant on every journey. This specification covers all taxi bookings that do not require a regular driver. There are two elements to this Lot: — one-off requests for a taxi from A to B, — regular bookings of a taxi once a day / week etc to transport clients from their home addresses to training venues or appointments, and return whereby a different driver can be allocated for each journey. This Lot covers all transport contracts for vehicles up to 16 seats (and specially adapted vehicles licensed as Passenger Carrying Vehicle (PCV) for vulnerable children, vulnerable adults, clients with Additional Learning needs (ALN) and other clients for whom the Council is required to arrange transport, normally door to door (unless specified). This Lot covers all miscellaneous transport needs required by the Council not covered in the first 6 lots. Any such requests will be detailed at time of tender.
