Tender description

NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands commissioning support unit (AGCSU) on behalf of NHS England. Midlands and East (Central Midlands) and Nene CCG under joint Commissioning arrangements (referred to as the commissioners) have awarded a Contract to deliver the Service of primary care medical services for Kings heath practice. The contract duration is for 5 years and the Service is expected to be fully functional from 1.4.2018 under a APMS Contract. a) High quality, patient centred and value for money (VFM) Primary GP services, delivered in a safe and effective manner. b) Primary medical services including Essential, Additional and enhanced services. Kings heath practice has a list size of 3439 registered patients and is in the Kings heath ward of Northampton. Currently the Kings heath practice boundary incorporates Kings Heath, Spencer, Rye Hill and Dallington areas of Northampton. The health of people in Kings Heath is varied compared to the England average. The percentage of the population whose health is “very bad” or “bad or very bad” is significantly worse than the England average.
