GB-Shrewsbury: AMCV 245 - Housing Advice and Homelessness Prevention

Tender description

The Council wishes to procure a provider to deliver housing advice and homelessness prevention as an extension of the Council's provision and which is delivered in such a way as to better engage with people who may experience social exclusion or who struggle to engage with 'official' services. In addition the provider will be expected to commit sufficient managerial and staff resource to work with the Council's Housing Services to support the successful implementation of a new service model for preventing homelessness and will take a lead role on some aspects of service development in agreement with the Council. This contract will be for an initial period of 1 year from 1st May 2018 with the option to extend the contract for a further period of up to 1 year. A fixed contract value of £102,850 per annum is available and bidders must be able to demonstrate how they will make the most effective use of that funding in a way that balances service provision with service development in collaboration with the Council.
