Ealing Road Library Management of Cafe and Public Entertainment Square

Tender description

The London Borough of Brent Council are investing in the area around Ealing Road Library, Wembley, by creating a new, multi-purpose public square outside the library, significantly enhancing the public realm and providing two architecturally designed units to frame the new space. This will be a meeting point and central focus for the whole community strengthening the vibrant, cultural landscape of the Ealing Road experience. Brent is looking for one or, perhaps, two innovative, successful operator(s) to add to this experience by opening a unique chai tea/café offering for the local population in one of the new units and to manage the second unit as flexible workspace for creative entrepreneurs. The public square between the two units will be managed by the operator(s) and used for varied events and activities aimed at attracting visitors to Ealing Road. This advert is issued to ensure that the widest possible spectrum of potential applicants is canvassed for their opportunity to express an interest and to respond by the closing date of 29 April 2018.
