NERC are seeking a forklift truck, to support engineering operations and equipment load outs at the BGS marine operations facility at the George Bruce Building in Edinburgh. It will also support the core storage facility with in the George Bruce Building. Technical Specification • Four Wheel Electric Counterbalance Forklift Truck (for use indoors and outside yard operation) • Nominal capacity: 3000kg • Maximum lift height: 6500mm Critical Criteria • Electric Counterbalance Forklift Truck for use indoors and outside yard operation • Four Wheel configuration • Nominal capacity: 3000kg • Maximum lift height: 6500 mm • Fork Length 1100mm • Integral side-shift function for forks • Automatic fork levelling (or sensor) • Mast height sensor • Steering wheel indicator • Load sensor (mass read out of lifted item) • Overhead guard • Headlights (LED lights desirable) • Rear working lights (LED lights desirable) • Back-up Buzzer/sounder • Flashing beacon (LED lights desirable) • Electrical Charger. • Low maintenance Batteries, with central filling system. • Hydraulic fork positioner (Hydraulic width adjustment) Delivery of the forklift is required on or before Tuesday 20th March 2018.
