Shipping Containers for Natural Environment Research Council

Tender description

General Requirements  The required containers must not be older than 2 years based on their manufactured date  All the containers must be fitted with valid CSC plate (Container Safety Convention)  Any visual damages, dents or scratches larger than 50mm will not be accepted  Painting of the exterior of the containers in red RAL3001 is required  Suppliers are requested to submit photographs on the offered containers prior to acceptance (pre-inspection of the equipment) We are looking to purchase all of the containers from one supplier for logistical purposes. Bidders are requested to specify a price for painting, re-certification / re-testing, if needed and the delivery of the containers within the Pricing Schedule document, however, we reserve the right for BGS to arrange the final transport and delivery of the containers. It is undecided whether the containers will be collected or delivered. The bidder will need to ensure that they are able to make sure both options are available. Below are the details for each. Collection The containers are required to be available for collection at one location in the UK, details of which we must be advised at the time of bidding.
