Guinness requires a housing management system that allows us to increase the quality of contact with our higher needs customers living in designated housing for older people. The solution will deliver a service that: — improves the ease at which customers can report repairs about their properties, — functionality for customer to push a button on a daily basis to confirm that they are safe, — improves the frequency and ease with which we can communicate with customers, — provides data that allows us to efficiently allocate staff time and resources, — helps us to survey and get feedback from our customers about property related issues, — reduces social isolation and has positive by-products for other statutory sectors, — materially improves the amount of human contact provided to a customer, — works 365 days a day with or without a staff presence from The Guinness Partnership, — replaces faulty devices within 5 working days. Guinness has up to 4 500 properties that it would evaluate for the deployment of any such system or service although it remains at our sole discretion as to how many such properties would ultimately be chosen to be included as part of this project. This will be discussed further with the successful supplier. No guarantee will be given on the number of users during the life of the contract and the number of users could increase or decrease over time. Potential Suppliers must be able to demonstrate that their hardware, software and systems demonstrably improve the amount of human contact delivered to our customers, particularly where that human contact is delivered as part of any offering. It is a requirement that the system is eligible for housing benefit. Solutions that cannot demonstrate eligibility will not be considered.
