Tender description

The cleaning and grounds maintenance contract will cover social housing, keyworkers and student lets — the tender is split into 2 regions — we are looking for contractors who can clean and maintain the grounds. Cleaning and caretaking services. — the cleaning of the internal communal areas of housing blocks and making sure they are free of litter, — ensuring that the external communal areas are kept clean, litter & detritus-free, — the collection of leaves and litter at all times, — specialist cleaning to some other individual schemes, including those housing elderly residents and those in need of extra support, — some ancillary cleaning and other associated duties, — the removal of bulk refuse and fly tipping (includes items such as black bags, refuse sacks, small pieces of furniture) from inside and outside residential blocks and on estates, — other site based tasks which may be carried out on a regular basis to certain properties (including, for example, changing light bulbs etc.). Grounds maintenance. — cutting and maintenance of grassed areas, — collection of litter and leaves from all external communal areas, — weed control (hard and soft landscaped areas), — shrub, hedge and rose maintenance, — maintenance and management of all planted areas on Optivo property, the removal and replacement of dead plants, — a separate price list is required for seasonal planting, and should be included in the information submitted in response to the pricing schedule (Schedule 4 Part 2), — management of trees on a day to day basis.
