PFI Contract Extension VEAT

Tender description

The contract is for the design, construction, finance, and part operation of an acute general hospital, including the supply of soft facility management services to the hospital such as porter services, linen, cleaning services,refreshments and patient meal services. The contracting authority and the contractor are amending the contract's benchmarking/market testing requirements in relation to the costing of soft facilities management services, to postpone the date of the required benchmarking/market testing requirements by an additional 10years. In return, the contracting authority will receive monies commensurate with the cost of completing such benchmarking and market testing exercise. There is no change to the contract specifications.
