Tender description

Supply, implementation and ongoing technical support of an IT system to facilitate A-CDM compliance. The implementation of the European Air Traffic Management Master Plan (Regulation 716/2014) aims to modernise air traffic management (“ATM”) across Europe; one which will enable the safe and environmentally friendly operation and development of air transport. The regulation identifies a set of ATM functionalities required to achieve this goal, A-CDM being one. Airport Collaborative Decision Making (A-CDM) aims to improve Air Traffic Flow and Capacity Management (ATFCM) at airports by reducing delays, improving the predictability of events and optimising the utilisation of resources. Implementation of A-CDM allows each CDM Partner to optimise their decisions in collaboration with other Partners. Both Manchester and Stansted Airports are two of 25 European airports required to be A-CDM compliant by January 2021. The aim of this procurement process is to select a suitably capable and experienced technology partner to support MAG in achieving A-CDM compliance at these airports. The scope of this procurement covers the provision of the systems that will achieve information sharing between partners, and thereby lead to more accurate decision making. For clarity, the supply and support of the MAG Airport Operational Database (AODB) is not in the scope of this procurement.
