Tender description

Procurement of the design and construction services for the demolition of existing structures (garages and sheds) and the redevelopment of the site to provide 33 new build affordable residential units. Approximately 12 sheds need to be provided in an alternative location prior to demolition work commencing. The London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham Council is committed to increasing housing supply within the Borough with a key focus of increasing the supply of affordable housing. The garage and shed areas adjacent to the Jepson House Tower Block were identified as a potential development site for the provision of new genuinely affordable homes and planning permission was achieved in November 2016. The Council wish to procure a building contractor to demolish existing structures (garages and sheds), provide approximately 12 sheds in an alternative location, redevelop the site to provide 33 new build affordable residential homes, within a 3-5 storey building, including the provision of cycle parking.
