Single Party Framework for the Provision of KYC Services to Tote Ireland Ltd.

Tote Ireland Ltd. (“the Contracting Authority”) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Horse Racing Ireland, with responsibility for the operation of a Totalisator on the 26 racecourses in the Republic of Ireland. Tote Ireland is at the heart of Irish Horseracing, providing a wide variety of betting options for all race goers. All profits made by Tote Ireland are used for the improvement of Irish Horseracing. Tote Ireland Ltd. also bets into all UK horse-racing meetings and a selection of US, French, South African, Dubai and Singapore racing from both the racecourse and through the telephone and internet wagering systems. Conversely a number of countries bet into Tote Ireland pool including the UK, France, Germany, USA, Spain and the Netherlands. More details are available at www.thetote.com . The Contracting Authority is employing the open procedure to award this single party framework agreement. In accordance with the provisions governing the conduct of the open procedure, any interested economic operator may tender for appointment as the successful tenderer. Tote Ireland Limited requires a third party company to perform KYC checks on all new account registrations. It is estimated there will be approx. 4500 new registrations per year (45% Irish, 45% UK and 10% ROW). This is based on historic figures. This however could increase in line with a launch of an affiliate programme and marketing push for new acquisitions which will primarily focus on ROW customers.
