Tender description
Replacement of doors and windows in Social Housing Units in the Dublin City Council administrative area. Dublin City Council intends to establish a framework using the restricted procedure on eTenders to invite expressions of interest for prequalification. Please refer to the Briefing Document for further details. The maximum duration of the framework will be two years.The value of the work is estimated at approximately €1,000,000 per year pending approval. The estimated value of the initial contract is €450,000. The estimated value of the following individual contracts is €450,000 each. Dublin City Council intends to shortlist the eight highest scoring Applicants for invitation to tender for admission to the Framework Agreement. The basis for prequalification, short-listing and invitation to tender will be the eight highest scoring Applicants marked using the pass/fail and qualitative criteria shown on table 4 of this questionnaire. A maximum of four Applicants will be admitted to the Framework. The basis for admission to the framework and award of the initial contract for replacement of doors and windows in 100 Housing Units will be set out in the Stage 2 tender documentation issued to short-listed Applicants. The basis for award of contracts after initial admission to the framework will be by mini-tender competition under PW-CF9 Framework Agreement rules. This contract has now been awarded to the following companies: CJ Callan Construction Ltd and Brian M Durkan & Co Ltd on 15th January 2018. Five tenderers applied.
