Market Engagement for Engineering, Design and Construction

Tender description

Low Level Waste Repository (LLWR) Limited intends to procure an Engineering, Design and Construction (EDC) contract to provide multi-disciplinary engineering and design services, and construction works that will enable the delivery of infrastructure and construction projects at the LLWR Site near Drigg in Cumbria. A number of programmes of work will be delivered under the EDC contract. The most significant of these is Repository Development Programme (RDP) Tranche 1 which will install the necessary closure engineering works required to provide both short-term and long-term environmental protection for the wastes currently disposed in Vault 8 and the adjacent trenches. LLWR Limited is holding a supplier engagement event on the 30.4.2018 (from 10:00 am) at Rheged, Redhills, Penrith CA11 0DQ. The purpose of the event is to engage with the supply chain and gain feedback on the proposed approach to the EDC contract. There will be an opportunity to have a face-to-face meeting.
