The Northern Ireland Housing Executive has published a Request for Information (RFI) questionnaire to gain a better understanding of the market interest, capacity, and capability for meeting its requirements over the next 4 years for clothing, footwear and PPE, including the hire of PPE vending machines. Completed RFIs should be uploaded to eTendersNI using the messaging function within the CFT. The completed questionnaire should be uploaded as an attachment. The Northern Ireland Housing Executive will use the information provided by the market to develop a procurement and contract management strategy for meeting all its PPE requirements going forward, in the most efficient and cost-effective manner. The principal objectives of developing and implementing a new strategic approach in this area will include consideration of the following: 1) The capacity of the market to deliver our requirements in regard to items of clothing, footwear, and PPE including the market’s ability to ensure continuity of supply. 2) The capability of the market to provide a managed hire service for PPE vending machines and detail regarding challenges. 3) Feedback on the intended procurement process NIHE may undertake for clothing, footwear, and PPE and hire of PPE vending machines.
