Tender for WLWA - Transport Services from various sites within the West London Waste Authority

Tender description

The Authority, is conducting the procurement using an Open OJEU procedure for the purpose of appointing a Contractor(s) for the provision of transport of mainly waste and associated services from sites within the WLWA area. The requirements are split into two Lots: • Lot 1 – Bulker Services - which means the transporting of waste and recycling using the following vehicle types: o Tractor units to transport up to 44 tonne gross payload; and o Semi-trailers to transport with tractor unit (combined as an articulated vehicle) up to 44 tonne gross payload. • Lot 2 – Roll On Roll Off Services (RoRo) - which means the transporting of waste and recycling using the following vehicle types: o Rigid multi axle vehicles for the services to pick up, transport and discharge waste contained within various open top and ISO containers on sled units (i.e. hook lift and RoRo type vehicles). A maximum of 1 rigid body tipping muck away type vehicle can be counted under this criterion. Keywords: waste, transport
