Tender description
GMP has contracted with Supplier A to deliver two key operational policing IT products with a go-live date of 20th March 2018. It is imperative that the go-live date of 20th March is protected in order to protect GMP from commercial, technical and operational risk. GMP had intended to use an existing supplier (Supplier B) under an existing contract to integrate these two products together. It became apparent, once sufficient documentation had been delivered by SUPPLIER A, that SUPPLIER B would be unable to deliver the integration services in time to enable the 20th March go-live. Supplier A was also approached and confirmed that they would be unable to deliver to us to enable the 20th March go-live. HCL, an existing supplier of a mobile platform, was approached and confirmed that they would be able to deliver taking advantage of: 1) existing GMP relationships, and, 2) knowledge of GMP’s technical architecture.
