JV North and the members referred to in this notice are a preferred development partner of The Homes and Communities Agency for the period of 2016/2021, are under-way with a capital works housing construction programme; approximately circa 2 000 units are anticipated to be procured under this framework. The aim is to construct quality homes for a variety of tenures, including community amenities and associated infrastructure provision and for a wide range of client groups and affordability levels. Construction contractors, are required to be sourced through this framework. The authority is looking to appoint up to 12 suppliers who can offer building contractor construction services in respect of the construction of quality homes for a variety of tenures within the North West and Midlands regions of the UK. Suppliers who are appointed to the framework and are then appointed through a mini competition will be required to deliver building contracts: Construction of housing for sale, intermediate and social housing and assist in the delivery of projects on time and to budget. All developments are expected to improve town-scapes and contribute to quality living places. The predominant type of construction work will be new build houses, flats and bungalows, together with associated community amenity and infrastructure.
