Tender description

This PIN is issued by the Education Funding Agency (‘EFA’) on behalf of the DfE to alert the market about the procurement of a Construction Framework for the delivery of capital education building projects. This follows PINs issued in May and November 2016 and associated market engagement days. A Launch Event is being held for the new Framework on 14.3.2017 in London. This will put forward the final design of the Framework, lot structure and explain the steps that need to be followed if you wish to tender for the Framework intended ahead of the issue of the Contract Notice on 15.3.2017. If you would like to attend the Launch Event, please see section VI. The Framework will operate across 3 value bands (High, Medium and Low). Each Band will be split into regional Lots (see section II.2 for more information). The Framework structure and/or Lots (regions) may be subject to change and the final Lot structure will be set out in the Contract Notice. The High Value Band will be split into two regional Lots (North and South). It is expected each regional Lot in the High Value Band will have 6-8 contractor places.
