Wolverhampton Independent Retail Excellence (WIRE) Awards have launched and are looking for entries and nominations for the City of Wolverhampton’s best independent shops and businesses. Enter now……. By entering Wolverhampton’s first Annual WIRE awards you’ll have the chance to really make your business stand out from the crowd. The Awards seek to celebrate the fantastic quality of independent retail offer we have in Wolverhampton whether its your shop, hairdressers, beauty salon, restaurant, cafe or bar. The awards are recognition of hardworking independent retail businesses that make our city streets vibrant. Free to enter and open to independent retailers provided they have a Wolverhampton postcode, the entry process is simple, visit www.wireawards.co.uk to find all the information and the entry form which takes only minutes to complete and submit online. All entrants will receive a welcome pack which will include a range of promotional materials to share with customers and to help your business attract votes from the public. This is a real opportunity to showcase and promote your business, put your business on the map and be part of a prestigious Awards event in July. There are 12 honours up for grabs including: Independent Retailer of the Year Excellence in Customer Service Employee of the Year Excellence in Staff Development Community Retailer of the Year New Business of the Year Retail Personality of the Year Best Dressed Shop or Outlet Leader’s Award – Apprentice or Trainee of the Year Hospitality & Leisure Business of the Year Most Improved Business of the Year Favourite Retailer of the Year. The Closing date for entries and nominations is midnight on Sunday, April 30, and the winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in July. Vote…. Vote for your Favourite Retailer of the Year.
