Tender description

The Trust has approximately 500 beds and purchased approximately 547 000 bulk/plated frozen meals during the last 12 months. There will be some capital equipping required by the successful tenderer although the extent of that equipping will depend on the solution proposed by the tenderer. The premises from which the meals are provided must adhere to the latest Food Hygiene standards as must the delivery vehicles. The supplier of the meals will be fully cognisant of the latest guidance and Legislation relating to hospital food. The meals to be provided must be able to accommodate a wide variety of dietary, nutritional and ethnic requirements as well as be suitable for any age from child. Delivery of Plated and Bulk Meals.
