GSV1490 - Provision of Westminster Gym Management Service - AWARD

Tender description

The House of Commons requires a service provider to operate the Westminster in-house staff gym. This tender is for the upcoming required re-awarding of the Westminster Gym contract. The existing gym and wellbeing service contract comes to an end on 31st March 2017, and so a replacement contract will need to be put in place, beginning 1st April 2017. The provider will be required to fully manage the gym and wellbeing service available to more than 15,000 parliamentary pass holders (MPs, peers, their staff and staff of both Houses of Parliament, civil servants, external contractors and journalists). This includes management of all member administration, facility and equipment maintenance, fitness service delivery and wellbeing service support. The agreement is based on a percentage return of turnover to the authority by the provider to ensure sustainability of the service, for example to maintain and replenish fitness equipment. At no point will the authority incur any cost for this service.
