Tender description

To supply accommodation and a variety of levels of support to young people and unaccompanied asylum seeking young people aged 16-17 years on admission, in order to ensure they have a safe place to live and achieve their potential in Bedford Borough. Of the Young people, a small number will also be open to the Youth Offending Service and will have specific issues relating to the management of any criminal justice disposals. To supply accommodation and a variety of levels of support to unaccompanied asylum seeking young people aged 16-17 years on admission, in order to ensure they have a safe place to live and achieve their potential in Bedford Borough. Individual young people who are assessed as eligible will be: — Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children aged 16-17 years, — UASC post 18 that remain the responsibility of the local authority. Of the above young people a small number will also be open to the Youth Offending Service and will have specific issues relating to the management of any criminal justice disposals. Individual young people who are assessed as eligible will be: — Looked after Children aged 16-17 years, — Relevant Children (care leavers) aged 16-17 years, — Homeless young people aged 16-17 years eligible for accommodation provided by Children's Services under the Southwark Judgement 2009.
