Tender description

To supply accommodation and a variety of levels of support to young people and unaccompanied asylum seeking young people aged 16-17 years on admission, in order to ensure they have a safe place to live and achieve their potential in Bedford Borough. Of the Young people, a small number will also be open to the Youth Offending Service and will have specific issues relating to the management of any criminal justice disposals. To supply accommodation and a variety of levels of support to unaccompanied asylum seeking young people aged 16-17 years on admission, in order to ensure they have a safe place to live and achieve their potential in Bedford Borough. Individual young people who are assessed as eligible will be: — Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children aged 16-17 years, — UASC post 18 that remain the responsibility of the local authority. Of the above young people a small number will also be open to the Youth Offending Service and will have specific issues relating to the management of any criminal justice disposals. To supply accommodation and a variety of levels of support to young people aged 16-17 years on admission, in order to ensure they have a safe place to live and achieve their potential in Bedford Borough. Individual young people who are assessed as eligible will be: — Looked after Children aged 16-17 years, — Relevant Children (care leavers) aged 16-17 years, — Homeless young people aged 16-17 years eligible for accommodation provided by Children's Services under the Southwark Judgement 2009.
