Information, Advice and Guidance Services in North Yorkshire comprise of 2 distinct service areas: — Information and Advice Service — the provision of holistic information and advice service which shall be available to the general population across North Yorkshire; — Welfare Rights Information and Guidance Service — the provision of advice and publications, training and information to front line Advisors in North Yorkshire. To deliver a high quality, county wide Information and Advice Service to the residents of North Yorkshire. The provision of an effective, high quality, value for money, county-wide ‘Welfare Rights Information and Guidance Service’. The Service shall be available to advisors within North Yorkshire, this includes staff from a Local Authority, Information and Advice Services, Housing Association, voluntary sector organisations or any other person within North Yorkshire who as part of their work, or representation of a group, may be required to give advice and information on welfare benefits.
