Who Speclialist Work With The Specialist Company will be required to work with the Authority and other suppliers to ensure coherent delivery of the services. The Specialist Company must have the necessary office facilities to support their own off-site working. It is anticipated that the Specialist Company will agree with the Authority to spend varying degrees of time located at the Authority’s site for face-to-face meetings and to carry out work of a security sensitive nature. What Specialists Work On 1. Produce proposed design solutions for enhancements to the Churchill application. 2. Formulate estimates and provide development expertise for new, and enhancements to existing, requirements for the Churchill project, based on the prioritised business requirements from the Product Owner. 3. Produce and review relevant technical design documentation to support the Churchill application and services, based upon business requirements. 4. Provide ad hoc support to troubleshoot problems with Churchill application in the live environment. 5. Contribute to the Agile development process as the Lead Developer for the Churchill application. 6. Support the Continuous Integration process for the Churchill application. Where the Work Takes Place The place of delivery of the contract shall be at such location as agreed between the Specialist Company and the Authority. Early Market Engagement N/A Working Arrangements The Specialist company shall use its own initiative as to the manner in which services are to be delivered; for the avoidance of doubt, the Specialist Company shall not be supervised, directed or controlled regarding how the services are delivered. The Specialist Company shall use its own equipment where security requirements permit. The Specialist Company is expected to provide the services on such hours/days as required to meet any deadlines, as agreed between the Specialist Company and the Authority. The Specialist Company shall provide the necessary resources to support the Services, which shall include one or more specialists. Work Location The place of delivery of the contract shall be at such location as agreed between the Specialist Company and the Authority. Security Clearance Security Cleared (SC) All specialists should have the necessary security clearance to be able to access MOD premises and information up to SECRET – UK EYES ONLY; this is the DBS NSV SC level of vetting. Incumbents are to follow both the letter and spirit of Army Headquarters security regulations. A minimum of 5 years’ recent experience of building secure, scalable enterprise level Oracle Application Express (APEX) 4 or 5 applications. 2. A minimum of 5 years’ recent experience in designing and developing reusable and modular Oracle-based business data component APIs that have been used across the enterprise. 3. A minimum of 5 years’ recent experience using SQL and PL/SQL with Oracle Database 10g, 11g or 12c 4. A minimum of 5 years’ recent experience using HTML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX and JQuery 5. A minimum of 5 years’ recent experience securing APEX Applications using the built in security functions. 6. A minimum of 5 years’ recent experience of developing against Oracle WebLogic server and Oracle Fusion Middleware components (OID, OAM, OVD). 7. A minimum of 3 years’ recent experience in developing RESTful web services and securing those services via OAuth2. 8. A minimum of 2 years’ experience using ApexSec Security Console to diagnose security issues within APEX Applications and provide the necessary fixes. 9. A minimum of 2 years’ experience developing and maintaining Oracle APEX applications hosted within the Microsoft Azure cloud platform. 10. A minimum of 2 years’ recent experience using Oracle BI Publisher 11g 11. A minimum of 2 years’ experience using Oracle Enterprise Linux 5.x or Red Hat Linux 6.x 12. A minimum of 2 years’ recent experience of working with collaborative Agile teams. 13. A minimium of 2 years’ recent experience of CI, supported by JetBrains TeamCity 9.x. 14. A minimium of 2 years’ recent experience of Microsoft Team Foundation Server for User Story management and GIT repositories for source control. Nice to Haves 1.
