Operational Readiness & Risk Management Intervention Critical Friend Reviews

Tender description

The Office for National Statistics (the Contracting Authority) requires Critical Friend reviews on the current approach and strategy for both Operational Readiness Test Assurance and Operational Risk Management & Interventions workstreams. The aim of these reviews would be to help us understand: where each workstream is at, where it should be at, what the gaps are in our current delivery plan approach, and any potential barriers that may impact the project delivery schedule (e.g. risks and issues). Outputs 1.Operational Readiness Test Assurance Workstream: We require a deliverable outcome for the Critical Friend review that will review the following areas and make recommendations to meet the requirement: i.Consider an Operationally Driven approach -from both business and technical lenses ii.Structured Test Process supporting progressive testing and exercising continuous improvement iii.Tools and Techniques iv.Adaptive test methods v.Roles and Responsibilities of stakeholders related to testing across the Census Programme vi.Approach to operational readiness assessment and reporting 2.Operational Risk Management & Interventions Workstream: We require a deliverable outcome for the Critical Friend review that will review the following areas and make recommendations to meet the requirement i.Interventions catalogue ii.Intervention triggers and escalation/resolver groups - iii.Roles and responsibilities for operational phases in 2019 and 2021 -covering planning, delivery and response iv.Process flows and business area interfaces in particular cross over with MI, BCP, incident and crisis management
