ICT17024 - Supply of a Highways Asset Data Capture Solution with Hardware and Associated Services

Tender description

The Council is looking to procure an end to end solution encompassing all elements of a Highways Asset Data Capture Solution from data capture to analysis and the ability to integrate with the Council's current asset management system. The expected technology is likely to be in two parts: • Data Capture Hardware - The Council requires vehicle mounted hardware consisting of camera(s), GPS and on-board control and storage capabilities. The data capture hardware must be installed and be transferable by Council employees and not be vehicle specific. • Software - Back office software will be required for post-processing, asset data extraction and viewing, as well as providing the opportunity to overlay the existing asset data set with the 'new' footage. As part of this Tender there is also the option for an additional service to provide asset data capture, in order to accelerate the asset data capture process in the short term, alongside the possible option to redact individual faces and number plates from the captured images. Suppliers that are interested in responding need to register on the Council's electronic tendering system and download the documents by 23:59pm on Thursday 11th January 2018.
