Tender description

This PIN is issued to alert the market about the intended procurement of capital works to a secondary school in Penzance, Cornwall. This Scheme is being procured pursuant to the Priority Schools Building Programme (“PSBP”). The estimated value of the works is below the EU works threshold; therefore, the contract opportunity will be advertised on Contracts Finder only. The purpose of this PIN is to raise market awareness about the planned procurement and promote early bidder interest. A Bidders Day is being held on 18.01.2018 (11:00) at Humphry Davy School to provide further information about the Scheme. If you would like to attend the Bidders Day, please register your interest by emailing the Technical Advisors (Turner and Townsend) at PM27342@turntown.com no later than 15.1.2018 (12:00). Please note that there will be a limit of 3 people per organisation due to venue capacity. The Scheme involves works to provide a replacement teaching block of 396 m2 at the school and to demolish the existing teaching block and provide replacement car parking spaces. Economic Operators should note that this contract opportunity shall only be advertised on Contracts Finder due to its value (Please ignore Section II.3 this section is mandatory on the online SIMAP form so had to be completed — To confirm a contract notice shall not be published in the OJEU). It is intended that the advert shall be issued on Contracts Finder during w/c 22.1.2018. Deadline for tenders is envisaged for 9.2.2018 (Dates are subject to change).
