Tender description

The Authority is seeking to establish a term contract with an Off-Site Manufacturer to support them design, develop, deliver and install new homes. The contract will be for the establishment of a single Supplier on a long-term contract up to a maximum of 10 years with the supplier expected to provide a “Turn-key” service including design through the planning process. This PIN seeks to establish the market interest and capability to undertake the required works and services with applicants required to complete a short survey as further detailed in this notice. The contract will comprise the design (including obtaining statutory approvals and topographical surveys), off site manufacture, delivery and installation of buildings to provide low cost housing as part of the Authority's Regeneration Strategy. The supplier will be expected to undertake the role of “Principal Designer and Principal Contractor” and undertake all other necessary construction works and services in connection with delivering new build housing. Approximate total value of all works over 10 year duration: GBP 50 000 000. The Authority intends to appoint a Consultant in the role of “Employer's Agent” to monitor project delivery.
