Railway Housing Association is seeking to appoint a contractor to provide painting and decorating services to properties across its portfolio. It should be noted that Railway Housing Association has a specification for Painting & Decorating which suppliers must meet in order to be eligible for consideration. The specification is supplied as part of the tender documents. The project is awarded through Procurement HUB'sWhole House Contractors DPS OJEU Contract Notice ref 2016/S 170-305523. Railway Housing Association owns 1,500 rented homes located within 24 local authority areas, mainly in the North East and Yorkshire/Humberside areas of England. This wide geographical spread means one of our biggest challenges is to ensure we provide an equitable and fair service to all establishing a presence within each local community. In addition, the Association manages 73 units of leasehold accommodation for older people. The contract is for a period of 5 years with the option to extend for 5 further years.
